Dancing, no sex

Wednesday, February 25th, 2004

For your pleasure I bring you cute Japanese dancing robots (apologies to those of you reading this over a slow modem link).

Now, down to business. I mentioned a while ago that I was going to be in a play. It's a riotous comedy called "No Sex Please, We're British" and it's playing at Seattle Center House Theater 4 from the 4th to the 13th of March. There are more details here. I hope that all of you who are in the greater Seattle metropolitan area will come and see it. Tickets are selling fast so buy now to be sure of getting the date you want. If you want me to get tickets for you (so you can avoid both a trip to the box office and the "convenience charges" for phone/online booking) just let me know how many you want and which performance you want to see.

Hope to see you there!

Economics for bluffers

This is hilarious.

I'm off to England tomorrow. For the weekend. To get another Master's degree. It's going to be pretty hectic - it'll be a miracle if it all goes according to plan.

SparkMatch!

Thursday, February 5th, 2004

I just had to come out of hiding briefly to point out that SparkMatch is back! (thanks to Jo for pointing that out). Okay, it's not called SparkMatch anymore, but it's the same idea and done by the same people. It also has a lot more features, and the matching seems to be a lot more scientific now.
